Unbound Security is on a mission to supercharge enterprise AI adoption by alleviating security concerns. Backed by top-tier investors including Y Combinator, we’re building the bridge between AI savvy employees and their organizations to bring in AI tools of their choice without also putting sensitive business secrets at risk. We’re growing fast and need a turbocharged Sales Development Lead to accelerate growth.

The opportunity

As our founding Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in fueling Unbuond’s growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers. You will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, engaging with prospects, understanding their challenges, and setting up qualified meetings for our CEO. As a fast-paced-startup, there are no glass ceilings to break, and you could be on a fast track to become our first Account Executive (AE) once you crush this role.

What will you do

  • Prospecting and research: Scout and target high-value accounts in our Ideal Customer Profile (think tech forward organizations that are also under regulatory pressure) using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Crunchbase, and your favorite ninja techniques.
  • Multi-channel outreach: Craft, iterate, engage with prospects on emails, LinkedIn, phone and events. We constantly innovate on channels, and are quick to run experiments. Kudo points if you can come up with new channels that are non-traditional.
  • Nurture warm leads: Make constant touch points with prospects that feel personal and relevant.
  • Keep CRM honest: Actively track and update all activities on CRM and help founders be active on post call follow ups. You’ll ensure that no ball ever ever gets dropped.
  • Achieve goals: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings booked and pipeline generated.

What you’ll bring

  • Startup DNA: You thrive in scrappy, high-velocity environments—where “that’s not my job” isn’t in your vocabulary. Everyone wears multiple hats here. You’ll be encouraged to take decisions by yourself and do what it takes to get to the outcome.
  • Proven SDR chops: You have 1-2 years of SDR/BDR experience, with proven outcomes, ideally in enterprise software.
  • Communication Skills: You write crisp, compelling copy and can pivot smoothly between DM slang and C-suite polish.
  • Hunter Mentality: Rejection fuels you. It just makes your drive to get to the next one even stronger.
  • CRM Mastery: You believe if it’s not in the CRM, it didn’t happen. No touchpoint ever skips the CRM.
