About the role

Hi, I’m one of the co-founder at Feather. I’m really excited for this job opening in particular. This is what I do in my everyday job. And having someone take this over will mean that they will be essentially navigating the ship with us and have a huge impact on where we go next. That also means that I want to hire the best of the best for this role.

We’re on the hunt for someone to join us as a founding GTM team member .This is a special role where you will get to wear many hats and execute in many different directions. You will be directly responsible for growth and revenue in the team. You will work alongside founders in building and implementing playbooks to fuel scalable acquisitions of new customers. You will define positioning and messaging that resonate with our customers. You’ll craft go-to-market playbooks, execute high-impact campaigns, and establish our presence at industry events to accelerate awareness and adoption of Feather.

What do we do

We are a YC backed startup and have great investors backing us. We’re building the next generation of conversational AI platform. Not just random bots saying things. Companies use our AI agents to replace their in-house or outsourced call centers. Our agents works over calls, text, web chats. They can have conversation history, access tools, do warm transfers, and much more. Our end goal is have our agents perform all those tasks that a human contact center rep does. It’s an ambitious one, but we see a path of getting there. Happy to share more on our current traction during the process

Who we are

We are a 3 person team (hiring 2 more) who are extremely passionate about building the best in class product and culture. My co-founder, Saurabh, and I met in New York 8 years ago. We share a strong bond in terms of being open, candid, fun, and respectful. We deeply care about our work and have taste in everything we do. Finally, we want Feather to be a place where people feel like they belong, believe in what we are doing, and drive us to next level.

Who you are

You are someone who isn’t afraid to take up on challenges. You have experience or are deep into AI world. You know how to run ads or are willing to learn. You’ve worked before in generating an audience through social hacks. You are aware of what’s happening with latest marketing trends in B2B or are down to learn and implement it.

Most importantly, you are someone who can take ownership and accountability. You will mess up a few times. We all do. But what matters to us is acknowledging it, fixing it, and learning from it. We are at a stage where we need people to take big bets. And you need to be one of them.

What will you do

As our founding growth person, you’ll be in charge of creating and executing playbooks for generating demand and traction of our product. I’ll work alongside you to help implement this. But this should be your primary role.

Basically nothing is off limits. Your goal should be driving revenue through demand gen and organic growth. Everyday will look a bit different for you. I’ll come up to you asking “How’s our new user growth looking like?” or “Which new industry should we start go after?”. And you’ll come up to me asking “Can we add this new feature to our product?” or “We’re not seeing growth in Linkedin ads. Let’s try billboard in SF”

Responsibilities

  • Develop and iterate on a comprehensive go-to-market plan, aligning sales motions and marketing efforts to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Craft clear product positioning and messaging that communicates the value our product provides.
  • Execute B2B campaigns (email, content, webinars, events) and build sales collateral to drive lead generation and deal conversion.
  • Identify and manage participation, presence, and execution in conferences and industry events.
  • Track key KPIs and iterate on channels and tactics based on performance data.

Qualifications

  • GTM experience at B2B SaaS startups, ideally in finance, AI, or voice technology.
  • Hands-on track record building pipeline via outbound/inbound strategies, demand-gen campaigns, and sales enablement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to distill technical concepts into clear value propositions.
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable defining and tracking metrics and using insights to optimize GTM playbooks.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action in a fast-paced environment.

Interview Process
  1. Intro Chat (15 mins)

    We’ll hop on a quick call so I can learn more about you, share what we’re building at Feather, and make sure there’s mutual interest.

  2. Deep Dive Chat (30 mins)

    We’ll go deeper into what you’ve done before and I’ll walk you through what we’re doing, what this role looks like, and how you’d contribute right away.

  3. Assignment + Review (45 mins)

    I’ll send over a short async assignment to understand how you think and execute. Then we’ll review it together and jam on how you approached it.

  4. Team Fit Chat (30 mins)

    You’ll meet the team for a casual chat to get a sense of how we work and make sure the team vibe feels right both ways.

  5. Trial Week (Paid)

    If things go well, we’ll do a short paid trial so you can dive into real work and we can get a feel for what it’s like to build together.
