About Reforged Labs

We build AI agents that help mobile-game marketers create, test, and scale winning ad creatives. Our stack combines retrieval-augmented generation, multimodal models, and billions of gameplay and ad-performance signals. Backed by top investors (Y Combinator & DCM) and shipping fast in both SF and Saigon, we need a hands-on analyst who can own data from pipeline to product decision.

Why this role matters

You will be the first product analyst at Reforged Labs—setting the bar for instrumentation, insight quality, and data-driven product thinking while working directly with the founders on 0→1 features. It’s perfect for someone who thinks like a future founder and wants to influence strategy from day one.

What you will do

• Define and track north-star metrics, funnels, and experiment frameworks for our storefront and internal tools
• Design event and schema changes, then implement them (or pair with engineers) in MySQL, dbt, and the warehouse of your choice (BigQuery or Redshift)
• Build dashboards, automate alerts, and surface insights that drive product direction
• Dive into massive ad-performance datasets to uncover opportunities for new AI features and customer segments
• Lead A/B and multivariate tests and turn results into clear product calls
• Establish data quality and governance standards that scale as we ingest terabytes per day
• Champion a culture of data-informed decision-making—share best practices internally and contribute to external thought leadership (blog posts, conference talks, podcasts)

What we are looking for

• 4+ years in product analytics, growth, data science, or PM-analytics hybrids at fast-moving tech companies or startups
• Expert SQL (MySQL dialect) and solid Python for analysis and quick ETL
• Experience shipping instrumentation and analytics for self-serve SaaS or consumer products
• Familiarity with modern data ops (dbt, Airflow / Prefect, Looker / Mode)
• Strong product judgment: you frame problems as hypotheses and size opportunities quickly
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, navigate ambiguous requirements, and informally lead others toward a decision
• Clear, concise communication in English

Nice to have

• Data engineering background and end-to-end ETL ownership
• Experience with LLMs, vector databases, or recommendation systems
• Work in mobile gaming, ad tech, or marketing analytics
• Bayesian or sequential testing methods
• Contributions to open-source data or ML tools
