Tivara uses LLMs to automate insurance approval for healthcare clinics. Our software enables doctors to deliver lifesaving care faster.

About the role

Company:

Tivara is building AI agents that handle all of the behind-the-scenes work for large specialty medical practices in the US, allowing their doctors to deliver life saving care faster. Today, we are supply constrained so your work will be critical to accelerating growth. 

We're a two-person team well capitalized by leading VCs and growing fast. We are looking for high-energy teammates who support our mission of making high-quality healthcare a frictionless experience.

Role:

You will be our Tech Lead in India. In the short term, this means you will operate as a 10x IC. In the not-so-distant future, you will lead the build-out of an all star team of devs + an Indian office. 

You will be one of the first hires and report to the CTO. 

We are supply constrained; your work will unlock our pipeline worth $millions in revenue.

Professionally:

You have > 3 years of experience as a fullstack software engineer.

You have produced stellar outcomes while working for US-based, VC-backed startups (even if you were remote in India).

You have prior experience building software in healthcare (or another heavily-regulated industry, like fintech).

The process:

  1. 15-minute chat with Tej (CEO)
  2. 45-minute “technical” resume deep-dive and a schema design exercise with Aumesh (CTO)
  3. A take-home
  4. 1-hour take-home review & coding challenge
  5. Work trial (paid)

Tech stack:

We choose our stack to optimize for performance and iteration speed as we grow. We use React, Typescript, Node.js, Tailwind, and Docker. Our database is PostgreSQL. We experiment with all of the cutting edge LLMs and use most in production for different use cases.

You do not have to have experience with this stack.

Founders:

Tej (CEO) and Aumesh (CTO) have been good friends since college and are both technical.

Aumesh was an engineer at Microsoft before joining Compound (S19) as one of their first engineers, helping their platform scale to over $2B AUM.

Tej grew revenue over 10x at Fair Square (W20) as their head of growth, and helped the company raise their Series A + achieve profitability. He flipped houses to pay for college.
