Gander is building the next generation of AI technology for the aviation industry (usegander.com). Our products help aviation operators coordinate maintenance, fleet availability, airport operations, and crew scheduling. We are looking for part-time to full-time remote software engineering contractors to build new products from 0 to 1.

Contractors will work collaboratively with our team of 6 engineers either owning their own sprints or assisting in creating tested, scalable front-ends for the engineering team.

This role will be absolutely critical to the success of Gander and as such will get significant equity and significant responsibility for product execution.

You must submit your most impressive personal project via Work-For-A-Startup Messaging (usable links preferred, GitHub okay) to be considered. Applicants authorized to work in the US, this can convert to a full-time, in-person job with pay & benefits within 3 months.

Technologies:

• We use Next.JS, Vercel & Supabase Extensively
• Familiarity with SQL Databases, Mutli-Tenancy, Webscrpping, and React-Native are important

• Product Development: Lead end-to-end technical execution and receive full ownership of the software development lifecycle

Key Requirements

• Evidence of End-End Product Ownership: Experience building all parts of software from front-end to back-end to cloud deployment
• Adaptability: Quickly and iteratively respond to needs of customers and turn product changes around on tight timelines
• AI: Strong understanding of how to implement and train AI systems into SaaS products and willingness to learn and adapt to building voice agent

• This role can be part time (20 hours) up to Full-Time
• Durration up to 6 months
