The need and demand are clear. This past year, we have raised $20M+ in seed funding and have seen significant growth, with 1M monthly active users and 250K developers, with revenue growing 30% MoM.

About the role

PlayAI is at the forefront of generative voice and conversational LLMs. With our Speech Synthesis and Voice Cloning models, we are building SOTA conversational AI products.

We are building a platform and infrastructure for Conversational AI Voice Agents so that every business, developer, or tinkerer can easily build talking human-like AI agents and use them to serve their customers; this will unlock massive value for the world and a lot of happiness for people using these delightful agents.

We joined YC in the YC W23 batch. Since then, we have raised $21m in seed funding and seen significant growth in users and revenue (20x the last two years). We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to lead product-led growth (PLG) across our user base.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead PLG across products : Own and execute growth strategies for Studio, voice agents, and developer APIs — targeting builders, technical teams, and small businesses.

  • Drive insights into action : Talk to users, run surveys, analyze product usage, and translate those insights into effective messaging, onboarding flows, and growth experiments.

  • Optimize acquisition, activation & retention : Launch and iterate on high-impact growth loops, funnels, and content to drive meaningful engagement.

  • Collaborate across teams : Work closely with product, design, engineering, and leadership to align growth initiatives and move fast.

  • Create content that converts : Help shape new site content, landing pages, and in-product education materials to guide and excite users.

Qualifications

  • Have 5+ years in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or product marketing with a strong PLG focus

  • Have experience marketing developer platforms , technical tools, and new features to small teams

  • Are passionate about AI and Voice AI , and excited about shaping the future of how humans interact with machines. Prior experience in Voice AI is strongly preferred.

  • Have strong customer empathy and love using insights to drive both product and marketing decisions

  • Are resourceful, hands-on, and thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments. Can move quickly and know how to get yourself unblocked. Some level of frontend developer abilities is helpful, but not required.

  • Are excited to work in the office and help build a culture of speed, experimentation, and impact
