about the role

we’re looking for an ambitious founding engineer with high agency!

• work closely with our customers, understand their problems, and come up with killer product features
• build scalable backend infrastructure to handle thousands of AI phone calls a day
• experiment with AI technologies to build the best-in-class voice agents for our customers

why telli?

telli is building AI voice agents that change the way businesses communicate with their customers. Voice is the most natural way humans communicate. However, high-quality voice interactions have historically struggled to scale, leading businesses to rely on clunky user interfaces and compromise on customer experience.

AI dramatically improves both quality and scalability. While many see the potential of AI voice agents, telli is doing more than just building a realistic-sounding voice demo: we are bringing AI voice into real-world workflows that deliver outcomes. We believe businesses need a simple, tailored tool that helps them transform their customer communication channels. This is what we’re building! we have a unique insight

we know this problem inside out. Finn and Philipp previously scaled the heat pump unit of energy unicorn Enpal. There, they worked at the heart of a massive, call-center-like sales floor - surrounded by hundreds of reps with old school headsets. That hands-on experience gave us unfiltered insight into the challenges and opportunities with phone-based customer processes that is shaping telli’s product.

we are growing fast

within the last 5 months, telli has processed close to a million phone calls, we have consistently grown revenue more than 50% month-over-month over the last 3 months and are experiencing strong customer pull - with just a small 6-person team out of our Berlin office.
