Momentic is an AI driven dev tool, we do code testing. Ask any developer, code testing is the worst part of building product. Our AI emulates users to find broken workflows. For example, our AI can place a (fake) online order of Bon Nene on your favorite food delivery app and alert the proper product team if the test order doesn’t go through.

We aren’t alone, our competitors include:

  • Free legacy products like Playwright and Cypress (which are extremely costly to build and maintain)
  • Companies that outsource testing to humans abroad

Our team is highly technical, but we surround ourselves with top tier sales people. Steve and Kaytlin both help out part time, plus we have investors who are sales leaders at Anthropic, Retool, and Stripe. We rely on our network when we need sales input, and you can too.

About the role

We’re looking to hire a founding member of our Sales Team. This person will drive revenue while building our GTM motion from the ground up — building positioning, creating sales enablement materials, developing outbound strategies, refining tooling, and even supporting marketing efforts.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advocate for prospects and customers. We’re building fast, you’ll have a hand in what we build and when based on your expertise and critical understanding of our users.
  • Own deals of all sizes from outreach to close.
    • Important Note: Currently we have so many inbound leads that we are only taking calls with six-figure deals. We’re eagerly building out our enterprise motion and excited to continue to iterate on our smb/MM motion.
  • Work closely with the founders to shape our sales strategy, product roadmap, and overall growth trajectory.
  • Create foundational GTM materials (sales enablement materials, slides, positioning, etc.).

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to:

  • Have 4+ year’s experience in early-stage sales/GTM.
  • Help set revenue targets, build pipeline, and close deals.
  • Balance long-term positioning with short-term revenue goals.
  • Have a high sense of agency and accountability; prioritize your work without much outside input.
  • Be ambitious, eager to experiment, and fail fast in pursuit of a repeatable sales process.
  • Be based in San Francisco and able to work regularly from our FiDi office.

Nice to haves:

  • A track record of selling technically complex products to developers or engineering leaders.
  • Experience selling into upper mid-market and enterprise (B2B SaaS).
