The Role

Senior Data Analyst - Turn data into growth for the fastest-growing ecommerce brands

You'll own the entire analytics workflow—from data modeling to client-facing reports—directly impacting business decisions and product strategy. Perfect for someone who loves finding elegant solutions to complex problems in a fast-paced startup.

What You'll Own

Custom Analytics Solutions

  • Partner with clients to design intuitive reports that drive strategic decisions
  • Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights

Data Architecture & Modeling

  • Build and optimize scalable data models using DBT
  • Establish best practices for data lineage, testing, and performance
  • Design models that balance clarity, performance, and business value

Strategic Analysis

  • Conduct exploratory analyses to uncover growth opportunities
  • Identify trends that shape both client success and product roadmap

Cross-functional Impact

  • Advise Engineering on data integrations and requirements
  • Partner with Product to scale custom solutions into features

What You Bring

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years in analytics (Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or Data Scientist)
  • 3+ years hands-on DBT experience
  • Expert SQL + cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
  • BI expertise with modern tools (e.g., Metabase)
  • Data modeling fluency (Kimball, Inmon, or modern approaches)
  • Technical foundation: Python, Git, command line
  • Business acumen: Translate technical findings into strategic recommendations

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Ecommerce metrics expertise (CAC, LTV, AOV, conversion rates)
  • Experience with ML/predictive analytics
  • Interest in hybrid work from LA or SF office
