About the role

In the next 30 years, the world will transform every part of the built environment to be climate positive green infrastructure. Knowing what, where, and how to build infrastructure like solar farms is one of the great opportunities of our time.

Paces is software for green infrastructure developers to identify the best places to build and manage their projects. Our software supports renewable energy, EV charging, carbon sequestration and data center customers with interconnection, permitting and siting of their projects. We are venture backed from Resolute Ventures & Y Combinator.

🌳 TL;DR

We are seeking a Head of Sales to join us as our first sales leadership hire! We have built a sales playbook which our current AEs are executing on, have excellent customer logos and are ready to scale up the sales team!

πŸ†Β What You’ll Achieve

  • Lead our sales team to meet sales goals
  • Recruit and manage AEs to maximize their impact
  • Iterate and improve on our sales strategy and processes
  • Participate in sales calls and actively support AEs to close deals

πŸ“ˆ Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, develop and lead a high-performing sales team
  • Experience with both inside and outside sales, including outbound prospecting
  • Record of exceeding sales quotas both as a manager and IC
  • Experience at a high-growth, fast-paced startup
