Shinkei Systems (YC W22) builds robotics that minimize fish waste and multiply shelf-life.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect software for advanced robotics systems that have the ability to change our relationship with food.
• Design and implement automated diagnostics for robot components to support reliable robot operation, field service repairs, and manufacturing.
• Support failure analysis and troubleshooting across multifunctional engineering teams.
• Write software to interface with hardware projects with multiple processes and modules interaction.
• Create highly reliable, maintainable, and testable code.
• Complete root cause failure analysis of robot failures

What You Will Need:

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, EE, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Background (experience, portfolio, side projects, coursework) in writing software for robotics hardware
• 3-5 years experience writing production quality C++ in low resource or high-performance environments.
• Ability to work onsite in El Segundo office in Los Angeles.
