You'll play a pivotal role in identifying and promoting the many use cases of Text Blaze, guiding new and existing users to unlock its full potential. What You'll Do

  • Lead the charge in identifying, prioritizing, and promoting diverse Text Blaze use cases, driven by a deep understanding of our users and their needs.
  • Develop and refine targeted user segments, positioning, and messaging that drives user engagement and adoption.
  • Spearhead the creation and deployment of compelling content and collaterals across channels, collaborating with talented contractors as needed.
  • Discover and establish innovative distribution channels that amplify Text Blaze's reach and user base.
  • Conduct growth experiments (including A/B tests), analyze data-driven results, and determine the best course of action.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of internal and external marketing experts.
  • Continuously push the envelope with creative marketing strategies that fuel growth.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the product team to shape the product roadmap by identifying under-served use cases or areas for improvement.

Your Winning Traits

  • 4+ years of proven success in product and/or growth marketing roles in product-led/freemium SaaS products.
  • A history of driving significant improvements to core business metrics.
  • Expertise in organic (SEO, content, and social), product, and paid marketing.
  • A relentless entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to drive results through creative and scrappy approaches.
  • Outstanding communication skills, adept at articulating plans, priorities, assumptions, results, and next steps.
  • A data-driven mindset (SQL knowledge a plus).
  • Demonstrated success in consistently delivering high-quality work while working from home.
  • A true team player, boasting high emotional intelligence and a knack for mentoring others.

Our tech stack is:

  • JavaScript and React on the front end
  • Google Platform on the backend with extensive use of BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Firestore and Cloud Storage

We take a rigorous but pragmatic approach to our systems. We want to keep things simple and easy to maintain with minimal levels of abstraction or complexity. We're talking complex problems, so that's not always possible but we're looking for people who share those goals.

Interview Process
  • Introductory interview with Dan - Co-founder and CEO - overview of the product, company and role. Discuss goals, experience and ideas for the product marketing role.
  • Interview with Scott - Co-founder and CTO - discuss experience and thoughts about Text Blaze in general and product marketing for Text Blaze in particular.
  • Project - demonstrate the ability to communicate the value of Text Blaze (focus on one use case) to users. You decide the use-case, channels, etc. Budget is available as needed.
