Worklytics is a people analytics startup based in NYC and Seattle. We provide our customers real-time insight into Employee Experience by analyzing data on work and collaboration in common productivity tools (G Suite, Office 365, Slack, GitHub, Jira, and more). We combine these data sources with HR systems, engagement surveys, performance reviews and more to discover how team environments and behaviors drive employee outcomes.

Our challenges include processing huge volumes of data about activity across all these tools and using cutting-edge ML techniques to extract actionable insights, while maintaining the highest levels of security and privacy.

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to become a foundational member of our sales team.

The ideal candidate will excel in a highly collaborative setting, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and has a proven ability to use social platforms – particularly LinkedIn – to engage prospects and generate qualified leads. You are driven to consistently achieve targets and have a knack for prospect engagement. While an existing network within People Analytics, CHRO, and CIO communities is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of demonstrable success in Sales Development, Lead Generation or comparable role, consistently meeting targets.
  • Proven experience developing and executing account-based sales development strategies to engage prospects.
  • Strong proficiency in personalized, multi-channel outreach (LinkedIn, video, email, phone) with compelling messaging tailored to individual prospect needs and pain points.
  • Proficiency in utilizing GenAi, SalesNav, and engagement platforms like Amplemarket.
  • High level of coachability and strong internal drive.
  • Adaptability and the ability to effectively manage shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional active listening and interpersonal skills, the ability to build strong rapport with prospects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities within target accounts through research, leveraging referrals, and networking on relevant social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a strong professional presence on LinkedIn, actively engaging prospects and industry communities.
  • Collaborate with the Head of GTM and CEO on developing and executing effective pipeline generation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing on nurturing prospects, providing lead feedback, contributing content insights, and ensuring timely campaign follow-up.

KPIs: Success will be measured by metrics such as meetings booked, social engagement, response rates, and qualified opportunities created.

Compensation: This position offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary and variable pay component directly tied to performance.

Technology

Our platform is hosted on Google Cloud (GCP), written primarily in Java 8 on App Engine. We store data in Cloud Storage, Cloud Datastore, and BigQuery. We heavily use SQL in BigQuery for data processing; as well is Pipelines and MapReduce implementations on top of App Engine.

Our web app is Bootstrap / Marionette-based, but we're migrating some pieces to VueJS. Apart from some simple stuff in bash, we script with NodeJS. We use Terraform to define infrastructure-as-code where possible.

We operate minor parts of our platform in AWS / Azure, but see this expanding with the goal to support deploying our platform to these clouds as an alternative in the coming year.
