Corgea is an autonomous application security platform that finds and validates vulnerabilities, then generates safe code fixes developers can apply in their existing workflow. In production customers like Zapier and Yageo, see ~20% more true positives and ~90% fewer false positives (vs their prior tooling), reducing triage and speeding remediation without adding headcount.
We’re hiring a Founding DevOps Engineer to help us build and scale secure, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure for a fast-moving startup.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is deeply technical, highly pragmatic, and able to move with urgency. You should be comfortable owning infrastructure end to end, writing code, improving developer velocity, and supporting enterprise-grade requirements without overengineering.
You’ll be working across cloud environments, CI/CD, observability, reliability, security, and performance. We want someone who can make smart tradeoffs, automate aggressively, and keep systems fast, stable, and economical as we grow.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments
- Improve uptime, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across our platform
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and internal developer tooling
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code
- Strengthen our security posture across cloud, application, secrets, access control, and runtime environments
- Partner with engineering to improve build speed, release quality, and operational maturity
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response processes
- Support enterprise customer requirements around security, scalability, compliance, and architecture
- Troubleshoot production issues quickly and systematically
- Write code and scripts to automate operational work and eliminate manual toil
What we’re looking for
-
3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
- Experience with modern DevOps tooling such as:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD systems
- NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar observability tools
- Solid scripting or coding ability in languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, IAM, secrets management, and production debugging
- Familiarity with security tooling and concepts, including vulnerability management, cloud security best practices, least privilege, secrets handling, and secure software delivery
- Experience supporting high-availability production systems
- Ability to move quickly, operate independently, and make sound engineering tradeoffs
- Comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and startup pace
Nice to have
- Experience in multi-cloud architecture
- Experience with enterprise environments, compliance, or customer security requirements
- Experience with incident management, on-call processes, and postmortems
- Familiarity with security scanning, container security, SAST/SCA, or cloud security tooling
- Experience building internal platforms or developer infrastructure
- Experience working at a startup or high-growth company
What success looks like
- Infrastructure is reliable, secure, and easy for engineers to use
- Deployments are fast and low-friction
- Costs are understood and actively optimized
- Systems are observable and incidents are handled well
- Security and enterprise requirements are handled without slowing the company down
- Manual work gets automated away
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $100,000 – $210,000
- Equity: 0.05% – 0.50%
- Health Insurance, Dental and Vision
- Flexible working hours
Why join us
You’ll have real ownership over the systems that power the company. This is a role for someone who wants to move fast, solve hard infrastructure problems, and build durable systems that support both product velocity and enterprise scale.
