Role

We’re a lean team looking for a Founding Engineer (Ruby) to join as employee #5. In this role, you will:

• Own core backend systems in Ruby (Rails or services), from design to production
• Ship features end-to-end across APIs, data models, background jobs, and performance
• Build reliable integrations with banking/accounting data sources
• Raise the bar on testing, observability, security, and deployment practices
• Work directly with users, design, and ops to turn problems into simple solutions
• Establish engineering standards and help hire the early team

Compensation

• Salary: $175-$250K plus 1-5% equity
