Paradigm is a reimagined workspace with AI at its core. Paradigm is based in San Francisco and is backed by Y Combinator and the best builder/operators out there including cofounders of Dropbox, Intercom, Langchain, Redis, Behance, Posthog, and more.

Our team is extremely small and talent-dense. We are serial builders who have worked at companies like Google, MIT, Microsoft (Excel Team), Citadel, Penn, SIG, and more.

About the role

We’re looking for experienced generalist founding engineers who thrive in fast-moving startups, and are excited to create an AI native workspace.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to work in-person in San Francisco 5-6 days per week
  • Experience building production application layer AI products
  • Obsessed with speed and scale
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
  • Insatiably curious and learns quickly
  • History of superlative achievement
  • Experience with GoLang, TypeScript, NextJS, Redis, RAG systems, and agent architectures is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build in a full stack capacity
  • Talk to users, track metrics, and iterate quickly
  • Scope out and implement core features
  • Shape product vision and roadmap

Compensation

150-250k base. This salary range does not encompass the full spectrum of benefits such as generous equity grants, health insurance, 401k matching, provided meals, team offsites, and potential signing or relocation bonuses.

Technology

As agents become more and more powerful, accessible large scale agent-orchestration becomes the biggest opportunity.
