About the role

Note: this role is designed to kick-off on October 1st. Slightly earlier or later works, too. Minimum 3-month commitment. In-person in San Francisco only.

The Role: Growth Intern

As a growth intern you'll have a hands-on role in contributing to the growth of Juicebox, and its flagship product, PeopleGPT. You will be treated like a full-time team member. You will work closely with the founders, Ishan and David, as well as the team, on driving initiatives to grow Juicebox.

You will be onboarded in the same way our full-time team members are on boarded --- and instead of working on intern projects that never see the light of day, you will start making an impact from week one.

You will design on, iterate, and implement growth initiatives from end to end --- which may include things like:

  • Analyzing existing user data (25,000+ users) to uncover high-potential customers
  • Creating a content growth plan (blog, podcast, LinkedIn) in collaboration with the CEO, highlighting successful Juicebox customers
  • Building user analytics dashboards on Posthog and Google Sheets
  • Designing and implementing referral programs in collaboration with customers
  • Market mapping high-intent customer segments based on historical purchase data
  • Understanding user pain-points and working with product to resolve; writing user stories/guides

You will engage with customers, investors, and the founding team to develop your own theses on product improvements, directions, and initiatives.

  • Node.js in the backend

Interview Process

First Interview: with David Paffenholz. You'll speak about your motivations, experience, and have the opportunity to ask questions about the role. Expect 15-30 mins.

Second Interview: with Ishan Gupta. You'll dive deeper into your analytical skills. May include a case-study, and will focus on your ability to analyze data at scale. Expect 30-60 mins.

Third Interview: with David Paffenholz. This interview has two sections: first, a product case study, in which you will dive deeper into potential user pain points and iterate on solutions to them (20-30 mins). Next, you will focus on the growth side: expect a discussion around a specific potential GTM initiatives, and the steps you'd take to plan and execute it (20-30 mins). Expect 45-60 mins.
