Finta is simplifying accounting, finance, and taxes for ambitious companies.

Accounting software hasn’t changed since Quickbooks was released in 1992. While it handles basic needs for small businesses, growing companies have to hire bookkeepers to manually categorize data.

Finta automates the manual, repetitive, and error-prone parts of accounting and taxes - freeing our customers to solve harder and more important problems.

Since starting Finta in 2023, we have hundreds paying customers and also raised $2M+ from Y Combinator, Garage Capital, Zeno Ventures, and leaders from Mercury, Brex, and Ramp.

We’re a remote-first team of two, with a headquarters in San Francisco.

About you

Design is core to Finta’s mission. We're looking for a Founding Designer who is passionate about our mission to build the next generation of accounting software.

You will be employee #3, joining a team with finance and engineering background, and wearing the hat of a product and design lead at the company.

What you’ll do

• Simplify complex problems with world-class interfaces.
• Collaborate and shape product roadmap and strategy.
• Talk to users to deeply understand their problems.
• Evolve brand identity to reflect Finta’s mission, product, and values.
• Own end-to-end build out of interfaces and design system.
