What you will do

You will be responsible for planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, analyzing data to identify trends and insights, and optimizing strategies for improved performance. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads through various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Campaign Management - Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels such as social media, email, display advertising, and search engine marketing (SEM).

SEO and SEM - Conduct keyword research and analysis to enhance search engine optimization (SEO) efforts. Also, manage and optimize pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to increase website visibility and drive targeted traffic.

Social Media Marketing - Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand presence and engagement.

Google Ads and Facebook Ads - Create and manage Google Ads & Facebook Ads campaigns, ensuring effective use of budget and targeting strategies.

Anaytics and Reporting - Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing campaigns. Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends - Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.

What are we looking for

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of Proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on campaign management and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, SEM, social media platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise with SEO tools such as Searchlight, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, ScreamingFrog, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in marketing team with an edtech startup is a plus.
Technology

Currently our tech stack includes Django, Docker and React. Originally our stack was deployed on GCP and currently we are in the process of migrating to AWS.

Interview Process

We start off with a video conversation to get to know each other, answer any questions you might have about the process, and assess an initial potential match.

That will be followed up with a call with our CMO Apaar Agrawal to discuss your past experience as a designer and a take-away assignment will be shared with you.

Depending on how that goes, you will have a Founders Call with our CEO Manas Kumar Verma, to make you understand the long term vision of our work. If the interview goes well, candidates will receive an offer within 24-48 hours.
