Adi Agashe (CEO) and Neel Mehta (CTO) are the 3-time global bestselling authors of "Swipe to Unlock," "Bubble or Revolution?", and "PM's Sacred Seven" which have been translated into 11 languages. They have worked together for the last 6.5 years and built a profitable 7-figure online business, where they manually hacked together marketing automations across several point solutions to scale.

Adi spent 5 years as a growth Product Manager at Microsoft, scaling Azure hybrid revenue (using Marketo and similar tools). He graduated from Cornell University, where he studied computer science and was a Rawlings scholar (top 1.5%).

Neel was an APM (later PM) at Google, working on Google Search. He graduated in the top 5% of his class at Harvard University, where he studied computer science and was a John Harvard Scholar.

Fiber AI automates sales prospecting & outbound sales workflows using AI. Enterprises choose our AI sales platform because we automatically find prospects, research them, and hyper-personalize outbound messages that get 80% open rates, which is 4x the industry standard.

We raised >$4.6M, have close to 2 dozen customers using our platform (paying us between $500 and $5,000 per month), and signed 3 paid pilots with mid-market enterprises that will cumulatively convert at mid six-figures.

We are looking for someone who's self-driven and autonomous to build new product features that customers will be using every day as a core part of their sales workflows. In short, you’re going to be one of the defining people on our 8 person full-time team (5 full-time engineers) as we scale to $5M ARR in the next 18 months.

How you will grow?

As you get more experience on the team, you'll also have the opportunity to own our expansion into LinkedIn automation, which will help us scale and boost response rates. We have our core product working end-to-end to automate email outbound, and we are expanding by adding linkedin outbound features. These product features are going to be critical in achieving net cohort expansion with existing customers, and you will get to design and build it out core features with our engineer team.

What will you work on?

This job will require you to be a Swiss army knife of an engineer. On any given day, you may be:

  • building LangChain pipelines, configuring prompt chains, or fine-tuning models to convert unstructured data about a lead into a compelling email
  • hunting down, scraping, and structuring data from an obscure dataset that we need to add to our platform
  • finding elegant ways to search over our multi-terabyte in-house data set of all companies, people, and job in the world (think of this like a database of linkedin, that is updated hourly)
  • hyper-polishing our sales automation UI
  • or all of the above

What we are looking for?

We’re looking for a talented full-stack engineer to help us build out new features in our product for our automated prospecting, enrichment, and email personalization alongside our team of 5 full-time engineers and CTO, Neel, who was formerly at Google, is Forbes 30 under 30, and graduated top 5% from Harvard (Computer Science).

P.S. If you’re good at (or can pick up on) functional-style TypeScript, readable and writeable data streams, TypeScript ORMs, and message queues, you’ll impress him.

Where will we be working?

We will be working 5 days in person in NYC 10am to 10pm in a private office. Our team is very passionate about what we are building, and we naturally work long hours and often times, weekends. We want to be transparent about this as we are looking for someone self-driven who can work ~60-65 hours a week, and we will compensate you well to make it worth your while.

What is my impact?

We have exclusively hired new and recent grads to our team (max <2 yoe). The bet we have successfully made so far is taking top 1% of early career talent that show promise, hiring them quickly, training them fast in the first few months, giving them ambitious projects to grow in responsibility, and quickly turning them into solid engineers capable of matching more senior engineer levels of output.

All team members get a sliding scale of compensation where you can choose between a competitive startup salary and equity offer. Many of our team members are bought into our mission and have opted for maximizing their equity to minimize their cash. Depending on your risk tolerance, we can discuss the range of options available.

Technology

Our stack exclusively uses TypeScript (frontend and backend); we also use React and Next.js on our frontend. For storage, we use Postgres and AWS’s Document DB. Our backend primarily uses AWS lambdas (via Serverless.com), although we occasionally use Node.js Docker containers on ECS.
