The Role

Fern is open source, check out our repo here. At Fern, you’ll wear multiple hats: making architecture decisions, diving into language design, and supporting our customers in Slack. Engineering is divided across two products (1) SDKs and (2) Documentation, and you’ll have an opportunity to work on both!

You will

• Have complete ownership over the work you do — as a member of an early-stage startup, you’ll have the opportunity to own large areas of product and engineering and have direct relationships with customers.
• Dive into whatever language we need to work with; our SDK generators are written in the language they generate, and we have four: TypeScript, Python, Java, and Go. If you’re a polyglot or interested in learning multiple languages, this is the place for you!
• Work directly with the CEO, CTO, and other founding members and help build out our team.
