  • Work effectively within a collaborative and multidisciplinary team
  • Have a baccalaureate degree in life or physical sciences
  • Are proficient in basic microbiology lab techniques including aseptic technique, as well as basic molecular biology skills such as DNA cloning and assembly, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and DNA quantification
  • Are proficient in spreadsheets and other organizational tools
  • It’d be great if you also have >1 year of industry experience in library preparation for next-generation sequencing and DNA assembly.

FelixBT is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, creativity, and respect where we value diversity and each other’s unique backgrounds and contributions. We offer competitive salaries, health care benefits, ample time off, equity, weekly lunch, and fun quarterly outings for our employees.

Technology

We have three core competencies - the ability to collect lots of data quickly and cheaply mapping viral genotypes to phenotypes - the ability to interrogate these datasets to identify genomic regions that code for phenotypes of interest - the ability to the print and boot that code into self replicating biological nano-robots (viruses)
