About the role

LTSE supports companies in all stages of growth committed to long-term value creation, and the investors who share their values. We offer software and services for company-building and pursuing a path to the public markets, a U.S. national securities exchange for new and existing public companies, and a coalition for the exchange of ideas between companies and like-minded investors.

We believe in the power of a public market that supports continuous success for all stakeholders, including employees, investors, and their communities. We’re helping innovation and value creation flourish for now and far into the future through long-term investment, experimentation, and sustainable scaling.

Lead LTSE investors include Founders Fund, Collaborative Fund, Andreessen Horowitz, Obvious Ventures, Uprising, and Initialized. LTSE was founded by Eric Ries, an entrepreneur, New York Times-bestselling author, and the creator of the Lean Startup methodology.

The Role We are looking for a Partnerships Lead who will be instrumental in developing strategic plan and execution to grow and foster LTSE’s partnerships for lead generation and brand awareness.

This Partnerships Lead will manage LTSE Equity’s most critical partnerships with VCs, law firms, founder organizations, and more. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (including legal, ops, sales, marketing, and engineering) in crafting thoughtful strategies for engaging and partnering with networks. Additionally, they will generate and own relationships with partner executives, navigating the organizations they lead to educate key partner contacts about LTSE’s value proposition, further develop LTSE’s understanding of their interests and needs, and identify/execute complex commercial deals that support LTSE’s strategic objectives.

The Partnerships Lead will provide analysis of, and recommendations for, building LTSE’s relationships across our partnership ecosystem, designing a strategic, partner-focused go-to-market approach and individual partner plans that drive meaningful outcomes. As a result of these efforts, they will generate leads and prospective accounts for new business for LTSE Equity.

You are:

  • Active in the ecosystem: You’ve worked with founders and partners before and have a strong understanding of the Tier 1 VCs, top providers, and the “movers and shakers” in the startup scene.
  • Numbers-driven: you have experience with either team or individual quotas and a history with meeting those quotas through partnerships or traditional business development.
  • Adaptable: You are able to pivot quickly and effectively based on qualitative and quantitative feedback from customers or partners.
  • A great project manager: You enjoy navigating cross-functional teams and products.
  • Ready to build: You love the strategy component of partnerships but are also willing to “get your hands dirty” to make sure the execution of partnerships goes smoothly.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in strategy, business development, and partner management
  • Broad and deep experience designing industry-wide partnership strategies, and forging commercial relationships to build innovative product experiences
  • Experience managing partnerships specifically for lead generation
  • Experience developing partnerships across a number of stakeholders (at a minimum with VCs, law firms, and/or founder organizations)
  • Experience managing partnerships across multiple mediums (sponsorships, events, affiliate, etc.)
  • Strong personal skills, must be able to manage cold outreach and ongoing account management
  • Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting data from third-party platforms and adapt to custom internal tools

Nice to haves:

  • Previous experience working at a VC in marketing or partnerships
  • Previous experience managing partnerships within B2B SaaS for early-stage startups
  • Previous relationships with early-stage investors, services, and law firms.

Benefits Include:

  • People. Work in a mission-based company with skilled committed, and supportive teammates who share your desire to create a new kind of public market, and have a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Work with a small team of smart people to make an impact in an agile and autonomous environment.
  • Excellent medical, dental and vision benefits.
  • A commitment to a sustainable work environment, including an unlimited vacation policy that requires team members take a minimum of three weeks vacation per year.
  • 401k.
  • Computer and home office setup.
  • Competitive and flexible early startup compensation package range: $118,000 - $135,000 + equity, based on experience.
