Satsuma is building a data platform to make reading from blockchains as easy as reading application data in web2. We’re creating tools to help developers build applications on top of blockchain data. Our product lets them take decoded data from multiple chains and customize it for their use cases. Along the way, we’re solving challenging technical problems around ingesting and transforming raw blockchain data in real-time!
We’re a founding team of engineers, having built data infrastructure and product as early employees at Airtable, Heap, and Y Combinator. We believe in an inclusive and results-driven culture built on empathy, humility, and curiosity.
About you
- You're excited to build a data-heavy product from the ground up, knowing that the work you do will set the stage for future engineers and become important parts of the product in years to come.
- You’re comfortable with the ambiguity of working at an early stage startup and are willing to bring your thoughts to the table, even if there’s not an existing way to think about or do something.
- You enjoy working collaboratively but are also comfortable taking initiative and driving projects yourself.
- You've worked with data processing tools such as Kafka, Spark, Flink, data lakes, etc.
What you'll be doing
- Build and scale our infra for ingesting, transforming, and exposing blockchain data in real-time.
- Work closely with the CTO to design and evolve the infra.
- Take ownership over the infra, with the potential of becoming a technical or people leader as the team grows.
