The inspiration for Slope came from Lawrence’s parents having spent the past three decades in the wholesale business, importing products and selling them to small businesses across Brazil. From having worked with them, we realized small mom-and-pop stores are limited by their working capital and that business loans are complicated to navigate.

In a span of 7 months, we went from pre-product to processing over millions monthly transaction volume – growing 121% MoM. We're also well funded – raising a total of $32M to date from USV, monashees, Tiger Global, GFC, and the founders of Dropbox, Doordash, Plaid, Opendoor, Rappi, and Deel.
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial generalist to work closely with the founders on high impact projects — setting up the initial processes and structure to solve ambiguous problems and then helping hire the right people to take over. You’ll be in the front lines of Slope’s highest priority initiatives and you’ll be helping expand the capabilities of our founders. It’s an intense role that involves a constant learning curve.
