Overview

We're looking for a Product Manager to drive delivery across Lago's core product. You'll work at the intersection of engineering, GTM, and customers — owning features end-to-end, shaping the roadmap, and ensuring we ship fast without sacrificing quality. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage environment and wants to leave a real mark on a product used by developers worldwide.

What You'll Be Doing

• Talk to customers and internal leads to understand their pain points and needs
• Drive product delivery from discovery to launch
• Work closely with engineers and the GTM team to ensure customer needs are met and execution is high-quality
• Stay hands-on by scoping and designing features that ship fast and with great quality
• Support the customer success journey by helping unlock users when needed — we all do support
• Own features and topics end-to-end, and work with the Founding PM to improve delivery and product quality across Lago

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of building and delivering products for developers (e.g. APIs, infrastructure, platform services)
• Experience building products in B2B environments, with customers and developers as your end-user in mind
• Experience in a startup/scale-up environment and all of the challenges that come with the fast pace of this work
• Excellent communicator with both technical and non-technical team members
• Experience and understanding of open-source technology
• A real appetite for the early stages of co-creating a product and shaping Lago's future
• Ideally: some skills in Product Design as well as Product Management

• You're not intimidated by technical depth — you engage meaningfully with engineers and aren't afraid to dig into the "how"
• You're not satisfied with shipping features that technically work but miss the mark — you care about quality and customer outcomes in equal measure

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in developer tools, infrastructure, or B2B SaaS
• Demonstrated ability to own and ship products end-to-end in a fast-moving environment
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and developer workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort working across engineering, design, and GTM stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience with open-source products or communities
• Some product design skills (Figma or equivalent)
• Familiarity with billing, fintech, or usage-based pricing models
• Prior experience as an early PM hire at a startup
