At Alfie, we've built a program based on the top research from places like Harvard and Stanford that allows us to precisely determine which weight loss medications will be most effective for our members in a multimodal approach. We're optimizing medications in complex care pathways like no one else has before.
Our program has been shown to be 2x more effective than standard prescription medication and 5x more effective than habit change alone.
We've raised seed capital from firms like Goodwater Capital, Nina Capital, and Pheonix Club, and various angels including the founder of OpenTrons (raised $200M from Softbank).
We are an equal opportunity employer that values and welcomes diversity. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
At Alfie, our goal is to deliver the most frictionless approach to care as possible. We do this through a combination of a mobile-web application interface and SMS interactions with users. We use technology across the stack including JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, GCP, AWS, Twilio, etc.
We'll set up an initial 15 minute call to share more about the role with you and see if we're the right fit for each other from a first glance.
We'll ask you a combination of technical and non-technical problems (often regarding problems we've seen in our day to day operations) to get an understanding of your ability to solve key problems in our business.
As this is a CTO role, we do require some leetcode aspects as well to verify your abilities.
If you have current projects / a Github repo, we'll ask to review these to get a better sense of how you've previously delivered.
We'll move as fast as you do, with an average time to hire of under a week.
