An Enterprise Sales and Account Manager or Key Account Manager (KAM, as we term the role), is responsible for establishing, managing, and growing a set of enterprise accounts.  These accounts are traditionally $2 billion-plus in revenue with locations spread across the United States.  You should possess the ability and experience to nurture and develop corporate-level relationships (C-suite, VP, director level, etc.) as well as work with area and branch logistics managers to help them identify how and where Curri can meet their logistics needs.


  • Ensure a warm handoff from the Key Account Manager, Sales for each account
  • Manage multiple existing national accounts by connecting with leadership from those companies on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis
  • Organize and implement consultative growth strategies for each account by listening to each company’s leadership and understanding their corporate structure
  • Monitor national, regional, and branch level penetration, spend, contraction, and churn on an ongoing basis and create initiatives to address trends
  • Work directly with Customer Success and Sales team members on these initiatives
  • Report to the head of the Customer Success team weekly on progress


  • Curri serves construction and material distributors, as well as home improvement big box retail.  The Key Account manager is the leading expert on their accounts within Curri. Often, the KAM will know as much about their accounts as the distributor's employees themselves!
  • Build deep, consultative relationships with key contacts, keeping a customer for life mentality.
  • Facilitate relationships between other Curri team members and contacts from the account.  Establish Curri as the default expert and go-to for any logistics challenges or experiments.
  • Quarterback and drive growth through the maturity stages of an enterprise account.
  • Identify the best Curri service offerings for each account.
  • Identify and guide on the best sales approach across the organization and educate and aid our Customer Success and Sales teams on their location by location growth initiatives.
  • Create and implement strategies for account growth, leveraging partnerships and resources available from other specifically Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. 
  • Work closely with Curri Engineering and Operations teams to grow and evolve Curri’s product offering set to meet customer needs.
  • Regularly pass on industry and customer information to the rest of the Curri organization.
  • Prospect and source new Enterprise Accounts across any assigned verticals (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, MRO, etc.) in addition to those passed on from others. 


  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • The ability to take full ownership of accounts that are handed off and proactively manage and grow them
  • Excellent verbal and written skillsMust be experienced in managing high-profile client accounts while building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive and positive manner
  • Openness to receiving feedback and quickly making adjustments to apply it
  • Familiarity with remote meeting tools as well as experience with remote and in-person meetings with corporate-level accounts
  • Ability to summarize data and trends for internal and external reports and presentations
  • Experience managing RFP/RFQSpecific industry experience in building materials, distribution, and logistics is a plus
