About the role

We're looking for a Head of Sales to join our team at Paragon! In the last year, we established product-market fit and grew revenue by over 6x with only one salesperson - we are now looking for a leader to build a world-class sales team at Paragon. You will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and scaling our sales organization while developing and refining Paragon's sales and broader GTM strategy - if that sounds exciting to you, we'd love to chat!

You'll work with us in our beautiful, dog-friendly office in West LA. If you're currently based somewhere else in the US, we can sponsor your relocation to Los Angeles or work together remotely.

What you'll do

  • Recruit and train sales team members
  • Strategize with SDRs and AEs to build pipeline and close deals
  • Day-to-day oversight of sales activities
  • Develop, iterate and improve on Paragon's sales playbook
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop and improve our broader GTM strategy
  • Report directly to CEO on sales metrics and reveneue forecsts

Who you are

  • Prior experience in scaling business from $1M to $20M+ ARR
  • 10+ yrs in sales and 5+ yrs in SaaS sales leadership roles including high-velocity mid-market sales; experience selling developer-facing products a plus
  • Experience running a successful sales team that has hit its goals repeatedly
  • A knack of identifying patterns and insights from customer conversations
  • Ability to think from first-principles to build a playbook uniquely suited to Paragon

Technology

We're a full-stack javascript shop (Node.js, React) and you'll work closely with technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker. You'll also play a large role in helping make architectural decisions and choosing which tools we work with.
