We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead our global commercialization effort. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the individual will be at the nexus of all strategic product discussions and play a fundamental role in defining and launching Volta’s flagship product. In addition, the individual will be a part of a rapidly expanding team and will be exposed to multiple career development opportunities.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and test the product and customer hypotheses
- Support lighthouse customers to ensure their success
- Develop a customer validated value proposition
- Position and message the Volta portfolio for key personas across our current and emerging target markets
- Set pricing strategy for full commercial release
- Create assets that educate the market on the value proposition
- Empower marketing, sales, and field application teams to be successful serving the target segment
- Develop a product roadmap that expands the available market
- Align, through regular interactions, the engineering and assay development teams around the customer
To be successful you will need:
- An advanced degree in Life Sciences, preferably to PhD level or MBA
- 5 years+ experience in product management and/or product marketing
- Experience with nucleic acid extraction and sequencing library preparation
- Experience with instrument and/or assay product development
- Experience project managing within cross functional teams
- The ability to build and maintain relationships across functions and levels
- The ability to influence internal and external stakeholders with excellent oral and written communication skills
- To be highly organized, able to multi-task, and have attention to detail
