DESCRIPTION 

We are currently looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to join the Growth team at Circle Medical Technologies. As we continue to grow, we are constantly searching for exceptional talent to be a part of our team. This position may be based out of our offices in Montreal, Quebec or San Francisco, California, or be remote in the U.S. for the right candidate.

You’ll work on our Growth team to lead a broad range of experiments that drive the volume of our daily appointment bookings. You’ll use your data analysis and critical thinking skills to identify the biggest opportunities for impact, analyze a broad range of data sources, and create experiments that have strong potential to improve one or more elements of our funnel (acquisition, activation, engagement/retention). 

You’ll then use strong project management and communication skills to execute on those experiments by collaborating with teams across engineering, patient care (providers and care team), marketing, etc.

And you won’t be alone. The team has developed a strong pipeline of experiments and learnings that have driven 3X growth in the last year, so you’ll be able to leverage the processes and biggest past wins to get started.

This team is looking for someone who loves to analyze data, is comfortable with moving quickly on executing strategies, and thrives when given autonomy over their role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Part growth marketer, part analyst, and part creative strategist, you’ll be responsible for executing, optimizing, and managing experiments that drive Circle’s volume of appointment bookings. We’re looking for someone who loves to learn new tools quickly and has a knack for getting things done, both by themselves and on a team. Your core responsibilities will be to:

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data from various sources and accurately generate data-driven insights to inform new experiment design

  • Design and execute experiments that reliably deliver a 5%+ impact on volume of appointment bookings by combining data analysis, critical thinking, and creativity skills

  • Manage ongoing growth cycles, using project management and communication skills to operate multiple growth experiments simultaneously

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with designers, engineers, patient support specialists, and physicians to design, implement, test, and iterate on growth experiments

  • Provide regular progress reporting on key growth metrics

Your first 30 days will look something like:

Week 1 : Onboarding to the company, understanding clearly what we do and how we do it

Week 2 : Supporting the Director of Growth with a few current experiments to get a feel for the cross-functional collaboration, plus onboarding to Looker, our BI platform, to start performing basic data analysis

Weeks 3-4 : Starting to brainstorm with the Growth team on new experiment ideas based on data analysis, starting to take a leading role in running smaller experiments, actively contributing to larger experiments

Your second month will look something like:

  • Running small experiments that drive 5%+ impact on appointment bookings metric

  • Running larger experiments that drive 10%+ impact on appointment bookings metric

  • Starting to develop a data-driven POV on where the biggest opportunities are (high impact, high effort, high confidence)

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 4+ years of experience creating and implementing growth experiments that drive new patient/customer acquisition
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical work experience
  • Proficiency analyzing quantitative and qualitative data using pivot tables and standard data analysis techniques to generate data-backed insights about patient behavior (Google Sheets & Excel master!)
  • Proficiency running conversion rate optimization strategies, combining data analysis with sound experiment design to identify and execute on strategies that will increase website conversion rate
  • Proficiency designing product and non-product growth experiments that successfully increase key growth metrics
  • Ability to analyze a wide breadth of data to uncover key insights and growth experiments that span a range of impact x confidence x effort
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to execute on growth experiments that range from website content/design to product features to training patient/customer facing teams
  • Task management expert with proven project management skills
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Driven, passionate, self-motivated, and scrappy with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Preference for and comfort in moving uncomfortably fast (in a startup environment or similar)

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE:

  • Proven track record with other startups or VC funded companies 
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or familiarity with using Looker to pull your own reports
  • Experience in healthcare
  • Experience in search engine marketing / paid acquisition
  • Understanding of product development cycle and experience collaborating with developers
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage simultaneous projects in parallel that drive toward both short term and long term wins
  • Understanding of statistical analysis
  • Experience working and collaborating with remote teams
  • Experience at a startup scaling from 50 to 150 people

COMPENSATION

In alignment with our values, Circle Medical has transparent salaries based on location (San Francisco, Montreal, or remote in US), output levels, and options to trade cash for stock.

This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual salary of $95,800-$115,000 in US major metropolitan markets plus equity, generous vacation, and full medical/dental benefits.
