About the role

GrubMarket is a disruptive food tech company that is digitally transforming the food supply chain across the U.S. We provide our software to fresh food wholesalers, brokers, distributors, and suppliers. Our customers love our SaaS platform for how it increases their productivity and the profitability of their businesses. We completed our Series E round in late 2021 and are moving forward to an IPO.

We have an incredible opportunity for a quality assurance professional to join our software team, focusing on our B2B SaaS product, WholesaleWare. In this role, you will be a champion for product quality, partnering with our engineering, product, and customer support teams to ensure that our product is not impacted by regressions and other issues, and to help us address them quickly when they do occur.

Responsible for -Regression testing the software platform in both test and production environments -Creating strategic test plans and test cases that catch would-be issues before they reach production -Communicating status of product quality with both internal stakeholders and customers, including maintaining bug lists and issue trackers -Bug triage and reproduction; writing bug reports; identifying root cause -Number of customer reported regressions is a KPI for this role -Once fully ramped: -Reviewing product feature designs and writing feature test cases -Building internal tools and processes to streamline our support and engineering processes. Reduce our resolution time.

About you: -Minimum 2 years prior experience in QA, customer support, or engineering -You thrive in a fast-moving startup environment. You are a master at dynamic, real-time reprioritization based on customer needs, severity of issues, etc. -You are comfortable being on-call and troubleshooting complex issues with customers in the production environment. -You have an eye for well-designed UI/UX and high attention to detail -You are extremely well organized -SQL / data analytics experience is a plus
