We are looking for an iOS Engineer to join our team and help us keep building our native HER app. You would be working directly with our Head of Engineering and Head of Product to design and deliver new features to our users as well as all the needed features to support the business like analytics, data tracking, etc. We are a small team with a modern app written in Swift consuming our Go Backend hosted in AWS, and we are looking to keep growing with talented developers that live and breathe to build the best apps to help users all around the world!
Help design, build, release and maintain our iOS app, as a small team you will have ample opportunity to own and have an impact.
Write clean, performant, reusable and elegant code.
Greenfield feature design and development (we are always adding new things!)
Maintenance of the legacy parts of the application.
Identify bugs and performance improvements and fix them to ensure our users have the best experience using our app.
Contribute to code quality, maintainability, tooling and automation.
Great knowledge about best practices around iOS native development, APIs and libraries.
Great analytical skills.
Experience developing and architecting UI and backend components for iOS apps.
Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, object oriented programming, SOLID, concurrent programming, and real time communications.
Proficiency with Swift.
Great communication skills.
Passion for creating a safe, social spaces online for LGBTQIA+ people.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into solid maintainable code, delivered on time.
Modern testing methodologies and tools.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.
