At PROVEN, we have built the most comprehensive database the beauty industry has ever seen, having analyzed over 8 million skin care reviews, on more than 100,000 products, 20,000 ingredients, and 4000 academic peer reviewed papers. This database is nicknamed the Beauty Genome Project. We then use the data and machine learning to tailor-make beauty products that actually work, because they are formulated specifically for you own individual skin.
Customers fill out an online quiz (questions cover age, ethnicity, lifestyle, and geographic location) to receive a unique skin profile and set of skincare products based on findings from the Beauty Genome Project.
We are changing not just the way that consumers discover and buy beauty products, but also how CPG companies are operated, with less wasteful, more targeted marketing, more efficient inventory turnover, and longer customer life time value using data and personalization.
PROVEN was selected to be in the Oscars gift basket to this year's nominees, and has been featured in New Beauty, Fast Company, TechCrunch, the Verge, and the Huffington Post.
PROVEN had just graduated from Y Combinator. We were also selected to be in this Sephora's Beauty Innovation accelerator, and had just won MIT's AI Startup Idol award of the year.
PROVEN is a technology-first consumer company named the ‘Tesla of Skincare’ by Forbes, and the ‘Future of Beauty’ by LA Weekly. Disrupting the $225B skincare market followed by the $2Trillion wellness market through machine learning, and data, PROVEN is the first of its kind to bring forth AI, data, and personalization into the personal care industry.
At PROVEN, we believe that the future of wellness is personalized. We’ve built innovative software solutions to enable unique e-commerce experiences and leverage vast amounts of data to make decisions throughout the company. The result is continuous explosive growth, growing 2400% one year after launch, and having built a world-class team of technologists, marketers, and operators from the fastest growing consumer startups to the largest CPG conglomerates. We are looking for disrupters to join the team and aggressively grow with us.
About the Job:
We’re enabling a new type of CPG model where shopping and product experience is highly personalized. As a Senior Designer/Creative Director, you’ll join a fully remote team of product leaders, engineers, brand builders and cross functional partners including product, growth, marketing, and operations. You’ll be participating in different touch-points throughout our rebranding process and solve design problems, optimize user experience, drive growth, build brand, and bring forth personalization in a very stale CPG world. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, obsessed and passionate about digital experiences, comfortable with ambiguity, and has the ability to work in a dynamic environment. This is a highly visible role that has the opportunity to make a big impact on the business.
