About the role

Ascen is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to help the growing number of contractors on the Ascen platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform onboarding calls with new contractors
  • Help contractors with various issues with onboarding (technical or HR-related)
  • Answer incoming questions and calls from contractors, staffing companies, and clients
  • Perform data entry into various software platforms
  • Be highly available to incoming issues and respond with appropriate speed and empathy

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in talking on the phone
  • Private space to talk on the phone
  • Passion for solving problems
  • Comfortable with tools like Slack, Google sheets, Zoom, and various SaaS products
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and changing job requirements
