We’ve sold over $2.7 million in Popl products to date to people in more than 150+ countries worldwide. As a result, Popl is now sold on target.com and will be sold in stores at Staples, CVS and other retailers this holiday season. We also launched our subscription, Popl Pro, 3 months ago and will reach $1M ARR (annual recurring revenue) this year.

About the role

Hi there, we are Popl!

We are looking to hire our first Creative Director! You will be working directly with our Founders to manage & create our brand identity, the creatives, social presence, and marketing campaigns. We are a global brand with millions of followers with Popls in over 150+ countries. Your work will be seen worldwide!

Summary

Popl is the next generation business card. Professionals use our NFC products to instantly share contact info with potential clients. Our goal is to completely replace the business card with rapidly growing NFC technology that allows our users to get more connections, more leads and more sales.

Popl Traction

We’ve sold over $2.7 million of Popl products to customers in over 150+ countries in just 14 months! As a result, we are now sold on target.com and will be sold in stores at Staples, CVS and other retailers this holiday season. We also have 2.3M followers on TikTok (including a video with 80M views) and 104K followers on Instagram! Social media is very important to this company.

We launched our subscription product, Popl Pro, 4 months ago, and already have $500K in ARR, growing 10% weekly. We are on track to hit $1M ARR this year.

We’re looking for a self starter who will bring their vision and ideas to the table versus someone who strictly executes to do’s. We prefer someone who has Creative Director experience and a great eye for content.

Responsibilities

  • Create content for both organic social and paid advertising
  • Post daily content on Popl socials - Instagram posts, multiple Instagram stories, TikTok videos
  • Create and run email & SMS campaigns - new feature updates, product drops, flows
  • Run weekly promotions (BOGO deals, giveaways) to boost sales
  • Manage Popl Ambassador community (15k ambassadors) for organic UGC

Key Qualifications

  • Creative Director Experience
  • Always creating and gathering new content
  • Self starter who takes initiative to get things done
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail - every word / emoji counts!

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Photoshop/Illustrator
  • Can make engaging content for digital ads
  • Live in Los Angeles (not needed, position can be remote)
  • Love meeting new people, going to social events
  • Have used and dislike how business cards work. Want to disrupt this market.
