We started Routable due to our personal experiences scaling business payments.

Having built in-house solutions, custom integrations to accounting software, and understanding the importance of payments visibility to entire teams, we decided to devote our time to ensuring that companies can be set up with a solution that works for their finance and accounting needs today and in the future.

About the role

Routable is a B2B payments platform built to make bill payments and mass payouts fast and seamless. Our mission is to be the simplest way to send and receive business-to-business payments. Unlike other payment platforms, Routable’s modern, easy-to-use API allows you to build a powerful payments infrastructure in minutes.

We’re a Series A startup with $16M in funding from Addition (led by Lee Fixel), Y Combinator, Founders Co-op, Box Group, Liquid 2 Ventures, and many others. We’re helping some of the largest marketplaces and gig economy companies, including Ticketmaster, Snackpass, and Garmentory. Hundreds of finance teams trust our decades of experience in B2B payment solutions.

About the Role

The mission of the Channel Partner team is to create long-term partnerships, driving mutual revenue to Routable, and our partners ensuring client success. You will be the first hire on our Partner Channel team, dedicated to driving Routable’s growth in the SMB and Mid-Market space through channel relationships with accounting partners.

You will be responsible for net-new revenue from our accounting partners moving their clients to Routable, as well as acquisition of new accounting partners onto Routable. In your day to day you will be tasked with identifying, signing, and managing partnerships that will help Routable achieve its goals and generate new client value.

This position forms deep relationships with external partners at all levels of their organization, and provides a main point of contact for the partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Channel Partner team to identify and recruit great partners to add to the Routable ecosystem
  • Act as the point of contact to increase partner knowledge and proactively train partners regarding general Routable product, services, resources, and differentiators
  • Work cross-functionally. Flow easily across multiple teams to ensure internal messaging alignment, operational coordination and evangelization of partner acquisition strategy; collaborate with marketing to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive leads, pipeline and deal progression; be able to communicate fluently with our product and engineering teams to help develop a best-in-class solution for partners
  • Provide clear and organized reporting regarding partner activities and results
  • Provide feedback to peers and leadership regarding market intelligence, competition, knowledge gaps and other valuable insights gained while working with partners
  • Engage (lunch-n-learns, trainings, webinars, campaigns, events) with key partners
  • Domestic travel will be required

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of partner/channel experience in the B2B software industry
  • A proven track record in scaling and growing a new and existing partner ecosystems
  • Strong customer success mindset
  • Strong product acumen
  • Capable of building trust quickly, developing and maintaining relationships
  • Ability to create these genuine relationships in various environments including in-person, phone, email, and video call meetings
  • Driven to hit and exceed revenue targets
  • An existing network of relationships across target partners

Location

You must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Reporting

The Channel Development Manager reports directly to the Head of Sales.

Most recently this has taken on the form of a bread-making class and defeating an Escape Room. Yeah.. We love to compete together as a team.
