Decentro is an extremely easy to use and plug-and-play API banking platform for financial integrations in India (and soon beyond). We are looking to empower the developer community of fintechs, platforms, aggregators and even corporates.

Responsibilities -

1. As a Product Evangelist, you will connect with community members, contribute to our feature pipeline, and share our cutting-edge work externally on videos, conferences, events, meetups, blogs and more.

2. As a team, we collaborate and connect with communities that love technology and finance as much as we do. Our team is looking to interact with individuals, communities & companies across the country (and soon beyond) at conferences as well as online, and co-create new features and APIs for the ecosystem.

3. Be an active and authentic participant in product, fintech and development communities wherever they gather online and offline. For most of these, you will be the "face" for Decentro - the person who they ping when they need help. And when someone who works at Decentro needs to talk to the external community, they'll come to you.

4. Create content that breaks down the complex into the simple while telling stories with code, equipping developers & owners with knowledge of tools and techniques, including but not limited to fintech, that makes them better at their craft.

5. Additionally, you will work closely with the founder and the marketing team to lay out a plan for how to grow our brand awareness and usage.

6. You might even find yourself starting new communities in India to serve Indian developers in a new way. In a lot of ways you will be an entrepreneur leading the way for future developer evangelists in the country.

Requirements -

1. You are a developer/product manager and understand the fundamentals of APIs, the internet, and how software products work.

2. You are passionate about the fintech products in general, and especially about the intersection of finance and technology.

3. Love to teach others and understand that teaching sometimes requires much patience, but are driven by the immense satisfaction of seeing the light bulb go off in your students' heads.

4. You are endlessly curious about and excited by technology and know that there are usually smarter folks in the room and you're eager to learn from them.

5. You must have excellent reading comprehension, listening, and writing skills in English.
