About Glimpse

Glimpse is a grad from YC's S20 batch - we're building a company that has exciting problems all over the stack - our core tech, selling to companies, building supply in a marketplace, creating an amazing user experience in properties, and more. We just raised our initial seed funding and are looking for people who want to have a big impact at the earliest stages and be a part of defining our core processes.

About the role

Who we are:

Glimpse is a marketplace for brands to purchase product placements in short-term rental properties like Airbnbs. We help high quality brands get people using their products in natural settings as an alternative to physical stores and events. We're currently a team of three looking to change the future of retail, and we want you to join us in making that a reality.

We're looking for self-motivated, go-getters that are eager to spread Glimpse's mission of changing retail. While contacts at or experience selling into direct-to-consumer brand and fortune 500 companies is preferred, our most important qualifications are having a strong willingness to learn, contribute to sales strategy, and put the work in to help the team close deals.

What you'll be doing at Glimpse:

  • prospecting and contacting potential customers at brands
  • outreaching through calls and emails to prospects
  • helping the team close deals by setting up sales calls and passing along key customer information to inform sales strategy

You'll be on the frontline with us, defining major projects like:

  • refining the sales pitch for improving conversion
  • sharing your perspective to inform product decisions
  • helping us build our messaging and sales playbook right from the start

To take on this challenge, we're looking for someone that:

  • is naturally curious and constantly looking to learn
  • can speak eloquently and write well
  • is willing to go against the grain and try new things
  • is a people person and loves to connect online, via email, phone, or face-to-face
  • is willing to provide input into parts of the business outside of Sales & Partnerships

Preferred:

  • has experience selling into direct-to-consumer and larger Fortune 500 companies
  • has contacts at and/or relationships with potential customers for Glimpse
Compensation package will include negotiable commission!
