Sales Rep: Health Insurance/Benefits
We're building a health plan from the ground up, starting with primary and urgent care coverage. Our affordable health coverage is 10x cheaper than the average insurance premiums and provides an accessible option to the nearly 80 million Americans that are uninsured or under-insured.
Our members get access to our network of providers that make telehealth first visits and supplement the scope of telehealth with in-home visits for point-of-care tests, lab tests, and imaging for substantially more delightful healthcare experience. Our members can choose to bundle our plan with 3rd party catastrophic insurance, resulting in low-cost, full coverage.
Hi, I'm Joe, founder here at Vitable. We're looking for a sales rep to help us share our primary and urgent care health coverage with SMBs in our first market (Philadelphia).
I've found that the learning curve for health insurance/benefits is relatively steep so the perfect candidate has had some experience selling health insurance/benefits or they're convincingly exceptional and can quickly ramp up. Nonetheless, some previous sales experience (Saas, SMB) is required.

Is this thing going to be around in a year?
Yes - we currently cover thousands of lives in Philadelphia and work with close to a dozen providers with over 100 more on our waitlist. We're backed by Y Combinator and other soon-to-be-announced world class investors. The result is that we have years of runway. We started Vitable with just $5k of savings so we have capital efficiency built into our DNA and that is unlikely to change. The only difference is that we are now running fast with backing from some awesome people and we're poised to build an incredible company (with your help?)
Lastly, you'd be selling a product that touches people on an incredibly personal level. Our providers help our members during some of the most stressful times of their lives - whether it's helping them with their young child's ear infection, providing convenient birth control shots, or helping with in-home COVID tests - our product is deeply personal. This is a part of the reason I'm excited about going into work every day and hopefully, this would be for you too.
