To get there, we have a “land and expand” sales model and are looking to add a strong strategist to our team who can partner with all of our stakeholders to demonstrate the impact that our solutions deliver today, while proactively building the case for growth across these large organizations.
This role reports into our Chief Experience Officer. Torch offices are located in San Francisco, New York and Buffalo, but we are open to remote locations for this role.
Take complex ideas and distill them into simple, concise, easy to understand stories that help our Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams communicate the value we’re delivering Build customized business cases, both individually and in partnership with customer analytics teams, to support customer expansion efforts by demonstrating the ROI to date and the projected value of expansion Analyze our existing data sets to create repeatable business cases around core use cases for use in both expansion and new sales efforts Design pilot measurement strategies to drive repeatable expansion opportunities Strengthen our Go To Market tools such as customer-facing decks, 1-pagers, demos, case studies, and customer success stories with data driven analysis Strengthen our sales enablement efforts by training our sales team to effectively demonstrate ROI to our buyers Become a market and product aficionado in order to help inform product roadmap, support sales and marketing efforts, and be first line of defense when it comes to ROI questions
Ability to build compelling business cases with clear ROI
Strong analytical, storytelling and customer engagement skills
Solid understanding of enterprise sales cycle Consultative sales experience a plus
A mindset of “Always be learning” Ability to plan, define, execute and communicate at both a strategic and a tactical level Excellent project management, communication, writing, and presentation skills Experience working in cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Sales, Marketing, Go To Market, Customer Success, Design, Engineering, Research, etc.)
