About the Opportunity As a Craft Cannabis Brand Growth Marketing Contractor you will report to the Head of our Delivery as a Service platform. Our ideal candidate is a hard-working self-starter that is highly creative, analytical, and data-driven, genuinely passionate about doing innovative and taboo-breaking work, and can thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. They should also be comfortable being managed against a set of KPIs, rather than tasks completed.
This person should have a deep passion and understanding for cannabis and its unique properties – both from an industry and marketing perspective, as well as from a product and plant perspective. The role will be primarily focused on driving growth amongst our Delivery as a Service partners, with a primary focus on developing the Direct-to-Consumer channel for Craft Cannabis brands with a strategy of highlighting small craft batch "pheno hunts," early access to best and freshest strains, and driving repeat purchase behavior amongst dedicated followers.
Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success in a start-up, driving growth with some or all of the following experience and skills:
- Email, Social Media & Content marketing
- Community management and engagement
- Brand management
- Customizing / testing / iterating on email marketing campaigns
- Developing and testing Landing page
- Developing and testing community competitions
- Merch Development
- Leveraging data to test micro-targeted cohorts for specific campaigns to drive repeat behavior and retention
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker and Mixpanel is a plus.
The ideal candidate will be both analytical enough to track the success of different campaigns they are testing with our Brand Partners, and how those results tie in to larger efforts, as well as be creative enough to write captivating emails with eye-catching design.
Candidate will need to demonstrate a capability for project- and client-management in order to effectively communicate and coordinate campaigns and product with our Craft Cannabis partners to most effectively drive market demand and sales to our partners.
