Internet connectivity is coming to every object around us. Our goal is to make these connected products usable by more people so that they are truly useful.

In the past few years, smart home adoption has been driven by smart speakers, which have already reached over 40% of US homes. More than half of those homes now also have other connected products, like smart lights, thermostats, and doorbells.

Connected products can assist people in their homes in powerful ways. But the interfaces that come with these products tend to only be usable by techie early adopters. As a result, most smart home apps have fewer than 3 stars in the app stores and many products are returned because users can’t figure out the app. The exciting opportunity for us is to make connected products usable by everyone, whether they’re tech savvy or not.

As Kraftful’s first Account Executive, you will help establish a sales culture that empathizes with our customers, users, and other team members.

What you’ll do:

  • Promote Kraftful to key decision-makers and stakeholders across an organization
  • Identify and qualify leads through creative research methods
  • Work with the founding team to identify ongoing strategic targets
  • Connect with leads via LinkedIn, cold emails, and cold calls
  • Learn about customer needs and articulate how Kraftful’s product can help
  • Document interactions with leads in a CRM
  • Manage leads and follow-ups using software tools
  • Always be closing 😀

What you’ll need:

  • 2+ years in an Account Executive role (or equivalent), ideally in SaaS
  • BA/BS degree
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - a great writer, speaker, and listener
  • Fearlessness - willing to hop on the phone with new people every day and explain Kraftful’s value proposition
  • Dedication to prospect happiness - set the stage for effective sales follow-up
  • Flexibility - we’re in constant iteration mode
  • Curiosity to become an expert on the smart home space
  • Mastery of LinkedIn and email communication
